– Search Technology
The Minelab GPX 5000 has a special search technology Pulse Induction technology,
which is based on a search disk containing electronic components,
that you can use it to send electronic impulses to the soil.

you will see the same coil receive the reflected signals and calculate the difference between the signals.
Then, you will notice that the digital signal is converted into a sonic tone response after being processed in the control unit.

– Ignoring Iron Signal
This feature depends on ignoring signals coming from ferrous or magnetic metals
targets and objects, like soda cans, nails, and scrap.
That feature allows the desired level of metal to be distinguished from low to very high,

That will enable you to the correct detection of valuable targets in areas filled with scrap metal or magnetic metals.
– Adjust the Target Sound
This feature allows for increasing the signal strength of the low signals

– Search Coils
The device comes with the following search disks, which are appropriate for specific purposes:
1 – Double-D search coil (11 inches)
2 – 15-inch Mono ring coil
1 – You need to insert the search COIL cable through the slot, which is located under the lower arm
2 – Enter small loops in the lower arm cavity
3 – Insert the lower arm between the disk slots, and make sure that all the holes are parallel
4 – Insert the screw of the coil very well so that passes through all the openings and make sure that you installed it on the end tightly
5 – You need to remove the search cable from the other side of the lower arm by passing through the middle arm
Then you have to connect it with the cable outlet from the main control unit, and connect the cables together with the ends of the two cables, and then you need to tighten the installation ring by rotating it
6 – After installing the lower and middle arms, you need to insert the middle end of the arm into the cavity in the main unit and the ring is located under the arm for installation
7 – You can extend the middle arm by breaking the fastening and pulling ring until you reach the appropriate length and then tighten the loop again
8 – Control the belt position on the handle at the top of the upper arm, which is the part that includes the battery and the power button
– When you finish all the past installation process, you need to turn on the device by turning the power switch
– Select the appropriate search mode, the ground balance, and the calibration of the device
– You need to tie the belt around the hand that passes through the handle of the device and make sure that the device holds it from the handle located at the bottom of the screen
